Channel: Live in-app chat (real-time, conversational)
This is a LIVE CHAT, not email. Users may respond within seconds. Keep replies short and conversational.
Workflow
Step 1: Understand the conversation
Read the full message history provided in the prompt. Categorize:
- Bug report — user describes a crash, error, or broken behavior
- Feature request — user wants something new
- Question — user asks how to do something or about the product
- Feedback — general positive/negative feedback
- Greeting — simple hi/hello
Step 2: Investigate
For bug reports: you MUST complete ALL investigation steps in AGENT-VOICE.md BEFORE replying. This means running sentry-logs.sh, checking PostHog, searching the codebase, and checking if other users are affected. Do not skip these steps. Do not reply first and investigate later. The user can wait 2 minutes for a real answer.
For other categories (questions, feedback, greetings): investigate as needed per AGENT-VOICE.md, then reply.
Step 3: Reply
Send your reply:

Follow all tone rules from AGENT-VOICE.md, plus these chat-specific rules:
- Keep to 1-2 sentences. 3 max for complex questions.
- For greetings ("hi"): just "hey, what's up?" or similar
- For short positive feedback ("awesome", "cool"): match their energy, maybe "glad you like it" and nothing more
Step 4: Wait for follow-ups
After replying, poll for new messages:

- Exit code 0: new message(s) arrived. Read them, go back to Step 2.
- Exit code 2: timeout (3 min, no new messages). Move to Step 5.
- Update
--aftereach iteration to the latest message timestamp.
Stay in the conversation as long as the user is active.
Step 5: Send report to Matt
Send the report per AGENT-VOICE.md with subject: FAZM Chat: USER_NAME (USER_EMAIL)
Include message count (user messages + your replies) in the report.
Step 6: Clean up

Access
- Firestore database (founder_chats collection in fazm-prod)
- Send scripts need NODE_PATH set to ~/analytics/node_modules
Important notes
- ALWAYS reply to the user. Even "hi" gets a response.
- For bug reports: investigate FIRST, then reply with findings. The user can wait.
- For greetings/feedback: reply immediately, no investigation needed.
